Branson Classical Academy

About Us

The Branson Classical Academy Way

We are a small, modern day one-room schoolhouse....meaning students 4th-12th grade work alongside one another with a shared teacher.

The school develops a rigorous, customized education plan for each student.  We discuss the family's goals & schedule, the school & teacher's expectations and develop weekly student academic plans.  We blend the beauty of the Bible, art, literature, science, math, music, history and theatre with online learning.   We embrace a unique and untraditional approach to classical learning and WE LOVE IT!

Faith-Based Learning

Branson Classical Academy exists to strengthen Christian families and to make dynamic disciples of Jesus Christ by partnering with parents educationally to prepare college-worthy character witnesses of Christ for the next generation.  We study: the Bible, History, Language Arts, Science, Math, Electives and much more with dual-enrollment options for 10th-12th grade.

Music Appreciation

Our students learn about the great composers' lives from cradle to grave and their remarkable composition works, historical periods, international cultures and traditions, music genres and instruments.  All students tackle age-appropriate music theory lessons on campus days.

Math & Science

Students are placed in challenging but not overwhelming levels for Math & Science.  Teacher support is available on campus days.  Parents must plan to spend 4-6 hours at home coaching their student on each of the 3 home-study days  to cover all the assigned subjects.   Parents must make a commitment to make this time available 3 days a week.  The Study Plan is provided and assignments graded by the student's campus teacher.

Art Exploration

Art is our finale to each day at school.  We're talking watercolors, tempera and glitter paints, oil pastels, glue, scissors, and so much more! Students are creating masterpieces at this school.  We celebrate with two annual AMAZING ART SHOWS.  Check out the Gallery!

Chess & Strategic Thinking

Chess is THE GAME at Branson Classical Academy.  Students learn the pieces and basic strategy with experienced student chess players...and then the battle begins.  Tournament brackets are a common activity while listening to classical music...often with the youngest students claiming VICTORY

Parents & Family Time

You are the most important influence in your student's life.  We will not require evening or weekend commitments for school activities. That's your family time. We want to partner with parents who want their children to PERSEVERE through challenges, to experience JOY in assignments well done and to LAUGH alongside one another at school and at home while LEARNING.
