The Fall 2020 Inspired Guilds & Enrichment Course Schedule


Mondays 3:15-4:15 PM

Session 1: August 24-October 12, 2020 (No Classes on Sept. 7th) 8-week course

Session 2: October 19-December 14, 2020 (No Class on Nov. 11th) 8-week course

COST: Part-Time Student: $80 PER SESSION Full-Time Student: $40 PER SESSION

Students will participate in a dynamic, challenging course focused on gaining confidence and skill for the stage. Creative approaches will be used including games, group acting exercises and team projects. Topics covered will include: improvisation, stage direction, voice projection, body movements, character backstories, dialects and more will be explored. A Presentation Showcase will be performed during the last 30 minutes of the last session class. Families are welcome to attend the Presentation Showcase.

CHOIR GUILD: K-12th grade

Mondays 4:15-5:15 PM   

August 24 – November 23, 2020 (No class on Sept. 7th or Nov. 9th) 12-week course

COST: Full-Time Student: $120 PER SEMESTER     Part-Time Student: $60 PER SEMESTER

The Choir Guild will train students to love music and enjoy singing alongside friends in an organized group. The choir will involve HIGH QUALITY teaching in a LOW-PRESSURE environment. Students will be expected to participate in the class offerings to their best ability and pay attention to the Choir Director/Leaders’ instruction.

Students will NOT be required to sing solos. For section placement, students will sing as a group and then be placed into sections. If solo opportunities arise, students will have the option to audition for a small solo section of a song.

Students of all skill level will participate in the choir. Outstanding musical direction will be provided by the Choir Director.  The November 23rd class will conclude with a celebratory mini-concert on campus at 5:00 PM for friends & family to attend. 

CHESS GUILD: K-12th grade 

Wednesday 3:15-4:15 PM

Session 1:  August 26-October 14, 2020 (No Classes on Sept. 9th)

COST: Part-Time Student: $80 PER SESSION       Full-Time Student: $40 PER SESSION

Students will learn the basic moves, strengths and limitations of each chess piece, chess etiquette and strategy. Students will spend a majority of the time on campus playing the game with fellow students. Stations will be set up with game boards and game timers. Students will train the first 3 weeks and then advance to a timed-rotational, bracket style format. This will be a quiet, focused academic environment full of fun and excitement. Awards will be presented for participation and for remarkable achievements mastered by certain players during the last class of each session.


Wednesdays 4:15 to 5:15 PM

COST: Part-Time Student: $80 PER SESSION   Full-Time Student: $40 PER SESSION

This is a small, high-level group of creatives passionate about acting and performance.  In addition to the Admission Application, students are required to submit a video audition and video essay to be considered.  

Each EIGHT week session will produce a high quality performance.  Students must be able to commit to memorization of script lines, blocking and assigned stage responsibilities outside of class.  A pre-set rehearsal schedule will be shared prior to the first day of classes.  Students must show up prepared for each rehearsal or they will not be allowed to continue with the course.  The productions will be different each session to include but not limited to: virtual production, radio theatre, stage play, themed sketches, musical, monologue collection, and more.  Performances may take place on stage, on campus, outdoors, on-line streaming or as a traveling local show for the community, schools, churches, etc.  Performance dates and times to be announced soon.  Students younger than 4th grade must receive special permission from the Administration to apply and audition based on maturity level, ability to focus during the scheduled course time and previous acting experience.

Christmas Guild Symposium Session 1 Dec. 21   Mon.    9:00 AM - 4:00 PM  Part Time: $30 Full Time: $15

These are special extended educational enrichment experience events overflowing with imagination! Time will be filled with art, acting, building, music and more…essentially a full day for creatives to enjoy fellowship with other students in a festive, inspiring environment for the day. Each day will have a seasonal theme. Students will bring their own lunches, snacks and water. No nut products allowed on campus as Branson Classical Academy is a nut-free campus.  


18 Weeks: Semester Mondays 2:00 – 3:00 PM

August 24 - December 16, 2020 (No Class Sept. 7th)

COST: Part-Time Student: $200 (plus supplies) Full-Time: Included in Annual Tuition (except supplies)

(Optional Add on Wednesdays for an additional $200 per semester, No class Nov. 11)

Embark on a semester of discovery: historical artistic periods, mediums, artists, color, and more. Students step out of their comfort zone while studying a variety of artistic styles inspired by the greatest artists throughout history. Students become the artists after the initial historical overview training, inspiration and discover the ability to find their own style and voice in their masterpieces. Brilliant art projects await the students this Fall.

December 14, 2020 will include an Art Exhibit & All School Christmas Party with games & festivities. Families are welcome to attend from 2:40 PM to 3:00 PM to celebrate the young artists’ accomplishments at the semester-end celebration.


18 Weeks: Semester Mondays & Wednesdays 8:00 – 8:45 AM

August 24 - December 16, 2020 (No Classes Sept. 7, Nov. 11)

COST: Part-Time Student: $400 (plus supplies)    Full-Time Student:  Included in Annual Tuition (except supplies)

Students enjoy a time-travel experience through various genres and periods of music. Famous composers and their musical masterpieces from the past awaken through inspired teaching. Students encounter music theory, history, artistic expression, and cultivate the ability to understand, listen and appreciate music. The best of the best is presented to the students through a multi-media approach to learning. Music intertwines all educational subjects. It’s a time filled with wonder, wisdom and imagination launching students into a curious and thoughtful mindset for the day of learning ahead! Students experiencing this Music Appreciation course are forever changed. Their lives are more abundant and vibrant as their ears, eyes and minds are trained to experience life with a musical Christian worldview perspective. This is an academic course with a participation grade offered. Students will attend from 8-8:45 AM Mondays & Wednesdays. Students must provide required supplies/books. Part-Time students must be picked up by 8:50 AM.

 Please note:

1. Minimum enrollment is required for all courses. 

2.  Branson Classical Academy reserves the right to make necessary changes to the course schedule, offerings and costs prior to agreement finalization. (Such changes would be fully communicated in the Admission Enrollment Offer presented to Accepted Student’s parents.)

3.  $30 Admission Application Fee Required for Part-Time students.  This fee is waived for Full-Time students. This is a one-time non-refundable fee. This will not be required again once an accepted student is enrolled and maintains continuous enrollment in at least one offering per semester. This fee is per student, not per family. If the student chooses to not participate for a semester, the student will need to reapply and submit a new Admission Application for the appropriate Academic Calendar Year and pay the required Admission Application Fee.

4.  Semester Courses: Art Exploration & Music Appreciation requires additional supplies purchased by parents.

5.  PAYMENT PLAN Available: Upon request with a paid 10% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due within 10 days of Admission Acceptance offer notice postmark date. More details will be included in Admission Acceptance offer notices.

6. DISCOUNT: No sibling discounts. No discounts for multiple course registration.

Branson Classical Academy Full-Time Students receive a  reduction for Inspired Guild Course Tuition. Music Appreciation & Art Exploration are courses included in a Full-Time Student’s Annual Tuition.

7.  Immunization records are required for students attending Branson Classical Academy.  Currently, Branson Classical Academy accepts religious and medical exemptions legally allowed by the State of Missouri.  If you have questions, please contact [email protected]

8.  Uniform attire is required for all students attending classes on campus except the Holiday Symposiums.  More information on uniform attire is included in Admission Applications.
